Volunteer Orientation
WHS offers an open volunteer orientation twice each month. The sessions are held the first Monday and third Thursday of each month (excluding holidays) from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. at the Willamette Humane Society Education Hall. No reservations are required; drop-ins are welcome. (NOTE: No volunteer orientation meetings will be held in December; orientations will resume in January 2010)
During orientation, individuals are provided an overview of the organization, its history and philosophy, and receive a tour of the facility.
